Shockingly, April 1 is almost upon us and the recorder concert is almost here!
The students are working on their pieces to perform for you on Friday, April 1, 7pm at Ed Options high school. Here are some reminders about the concert.
Required concert is on April 1, Friday. The event is required of all 7th and 8th grade students.
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. at Ed Options High School.
Cast call for all performers is 5:30 p.m.

The Renaissance Fair, the next morning, Saturday April 2 will feature lots of music, including any 7th and 8th grade recorder players who wish to gain extra credit for a brief performance about noon. Students, talk with your teacher about the Renaissance Fair performance.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22, and Thursday, March 24.
Preparations for Renaissance Fair and Fiddler. Renaissance Fair is three songs, the National Anthem at 11:05 and two more at 11:30. What do you think about singing “I Been in the Storm so Long” and “Walkin’ down that Glory Road”?

Cantamus! Put these rehearsals on your calendar. These are all-cast rehearsals — and that includes Cantamus. They are in addition to our regular morning rehearsals:
- Friday, April 15, 3-5 pm, all-cast, Act I
- Wednesday, April 20, 3-5pm, all-cast, Act II
- Wednesday, April 27, 3-8pm, tech rehearsal
- Tuesday, May 3, 6:30-10pm, dress rehearsal
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, May 4, 5, and 6, 6:00pm cast call
Our regular rehearsal on Tuesday at 7am will be the last of the quarter. No rehearsal Thursday.
Cantamus Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, 3:00 – 3:30 pm, in Room 302. All Cantamus members are welcome!
